About
Lofisons is an independent project. We want to build a place on the internet where people can find tools, content and spaces with an open philosophy, where free is always the way in.
We make tools for artists, developers, people who love productivity, creativity and these little niches. Always open source, local first and privacy first: your things stay with you. If something is paid, it’s a one-time payment or a voluntary donation.
We also want to be a creative space: music to work to on YouTube, and other things that add to the philosophy.
And someday, if the project grows, we’d like to incubate and spread the word about projects that share this way of doing things.
On the name. Lofisons is a play on Laufeyson, Loki’s surname (hence the little horns): lo-fi, making art at home, with whatever is within reach, intimately, and sons, because we grew up in it.
